Stupid question about updating and re-jailbreaking

Say I am on 4.2.6. I have a bunch of jailbroken apps and tweaks. Say they release 4.3 and it is immediately jailbroken untethered with Greenpoison. If I update to 4.3 and then immediately jailbreak, will all the apps work again, or when I update to 4.3 will they all disappear and I have to re-jailbreak and then re-download/install all the apps again?

After you rejailbreak you will have to download all your cydia apps/tweaks again. Pkgbackup can make it alot easier.

Even if the untethered jailbreak is released soon after 4.3 I would advise waiting to make sure all the cydia apps/tweaks you use are compatible or updated to work with 4.3 first...

Yeah I have package backup, and I don't have a reason to upgrade to 4.3 to be honest, so no rush, was just curious
