Stuck at apple logo

Hello, please help me with my iphone4. I have all my pictures of my kid on their and unfortunately I have not backed up any of them. When I turn on the iphone all that appears is the apple logo. I have tried hard reseting it and the apple logo just appears again and have tried to hard reset it with it plugged into the pc. I have not jailed breaked or done anything like that which I have read is a common problem for this. I do not want to restore the phone because I do not want to lose the pictures. Please help

Is the iPhone under warranty -- within 1 year of original purchase? If so, you know what to do. Apple will help. If not, then perhaps someone here can offer better advice. Sounds to me that you have a serious problem.

I had that happen to my first 3Gs. No warning, just was turning if off and on for a reset and it never made it past that apple screen again. Was toast and data on phone was a complete loss never did figure out what happened
