Strange issue when downloading app and i move during download

Strange issue I've noticed , if I download an app from the App Store and move the app before it completes I get two of the apps showing and when the download is completed the app I've moved is right but the 2nd version still shows as downloading .......... Any idea ? Hopefully I've not confused anyone by what I mean
