Hi folks, solved my battery issue (irrelevant to music player issue).
Music player doesnt work now... when I go to the "Now Playing" screen and press play (or anywhere else where I can normally start the player), the "play" icon shows up on the staus bar but no sound comes from speaker on phone nor handset when plugged in. The time strip doesnt even show up to show progress of music. Soft reset did nothing. Video and youtube works fine. This all started after using a battery case. Someone mentioned that the phone might have mistakened the battery case connection as a docking station connection and turned off the sound for the music player... I never used a docking station so I dont have any point of reference...does this sound right? (Yes, I removed phone from battery case and nothing changed) If so, does anyone have any ideas on how to correct the issue? Gonna try hooking up to iTunes later when I get back to my PC.
