Still no App Store icon on my iphone 4s....

Reset your Homescreen layout. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Homescreen layout

I tried that, at your suggestion, but the lower right corner (where the App store icon was) is now blank. I had moved something there because I like symmetry

I have a phone call scheduled w/Apple support but not until Wed. When I sync w/my iMac, I get a message about "a problem downloading Apple Store" and to try again later and the Apps page is inactive.
