Software Update

G'days Guys

I have a Iphone 4s , I bought it a few months ago from a friend of a friend, it works ok no problems
but I see in the settings there is a Software Update - iOS 6.1.3 , should I do the update and what will it do

the only thing I cant get to work is the " Preview for my GoPro Hero 2 " all the other GoPro , phone controls work , the preview will not display

If you're looking to jailbreak your device or if its jailbroken, updating to 6.1.3 means no more jailbreaking. Otherwise, there's no real change for 6.1.3 really. The only "major" update for the 4S on iOS 6 was iOS 6.1.1 iirc, which was for carrier data bugs

Thanks for that info , I guess I will just leave it as it is , do you have any idea why my GoPro Preview doesn't work

If you are jailbroke don't update over the air do a dfu mode reset.

Umm can I ask what a dfu mode reset is

You put your device into DFU mode prior to restoring using iTunes.
