simple way to make mobile website to an app

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone would know a way to make a very simple app that shows a website that is optimized for smartphones.

So you would be framing the website so it can be browsed inside the app.

Or could maybe tell where to read about it.

Im excited to hear any ideas.

I'm not much of a web designer but I made some small pages from time to time using the editor my web hosting provider offers. I'm not sure but when you can make a normal page why wouldn't an editor work for mobile pages too?

I'm curious about this also - perhaps on a different level ?

I know some forums optimize for cell phone usage where its easy to see and doesn't require 'zooming in' to see the content (I haven't looked at this forum on my phone to know if it applies here)

So - perhaps the question is, is that part of Phbb (or forum software) or can html (or other) be applied to any webpage to optimize it for easier viewing on smartphones - and how does it recognize that?

And that is probably the wrong question to be asking on an iphone forum?
