New to the forum and to the iPhone. I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue. I had Verizon perform a sim unlock for me so that I can use an international sim card when traveling outside the US.
The sim card I have is TruPhone.
I can't tell if the phone is actually sim unlocked. Verizon and Apple both say that it is. TruPhone keeps telling me that I should have "Carrier" ad an option under General Settings.
I had this option when I first synced after the unlock but it's gone now. I need to make sure my international is going to work. I'm traveling to Souteast Asia in two weeks.
Does anyone have experience with this or is able to offer any suggestions? Thanks.
