Signal strength in home

I have a strong signal on my Ipad 3G in my home. Does this mean I will have the same signal strength on the Iphone 4 in my home?

If it's the same network then you should be getting a similar signal. I don't know which has a better antenna. Im sure you've heard about the iPhone 4's well publicised signal issues...
