Yeah but that may just be hopeful thinking and I may just end up having to look at a phone that looks awful everyday.

Meanwhile, how do you remove the screen?

-Remove the two pentalobe screws from the bottom
-Apply a suction cut to the bottom of the screen and pull up until the screen gaps from the body
-Use an ease apart tool to carefully pry the screen by sliding it around the phone in the gap until the screen releases
-carefully pull the screen away being mindful that there are three ribbon cables at the top still connected to the logic board that can easily rip.
-remove the three screws holding in the pressure shield covering the ribbon cables.
-carefully pry the three ribbon connectors from the logic board.
