iPhone users, beware what precious information you end up storing on your device! A new security flaw that has just been discovered in the iOS, reveals how easy it is for almost everyone to breach into an iPhone, bypassing the lock-screen and accessing the contact numbers, photos and other personal things.

You might have expected a hacker to come up with a method of breaking into the Apple smartphone, but as it turns out, the people from the Verge were responsible for proving that even the iOS has its weak spots. The technique is quite easy and can be performed without much fuss. If you are curious and want to try for yourse
lf, it appears that in order to do that, one would need to place an emergency call but immediately cancel the request.

At the same time, the power button should be hold down a couple of times. The Verge team even made a video to better showcase the precise steps.

After doing the above mentioned steps, the intruder can then go on to browsing and modifying memorized contacts, listen to voicemail and even taking a look at photos, by tricking the system and making it think you want to add a photo to the contact list. However, it appears the hacker will be denied one thing – Internet access.

A similar backdoor was revealed in October 2010, when an almost identical bug was discovered in the iOS 4.1., allo wing access to the stored content of devices.
