screen issues

hey just replaced my iphone screen on my 5 yet again but this time the screen is black the screen still works and is there but is barely visible i have tried multiple screens that work on other 5's but not mine any ideas ??? i already made sure the ribbons are on correctly

Hi! Welcome to iPF and hope you have a happy time here. I think its a problem with the iPhone itself and not with the screen. Did you change your older screen due to the same reason? If yes, then you have to change your iPhone. If its within your warranty period, Apple replaces it. Its a problem with the phone because it can be seen clearly that its not a screen problem. For some detachable components to work properly, the main unit (iPhone in this case) has to function properly. Good luck!
