Hey guys,
I bought an iphone 5 in pretty good condition used online, but the previous owner had put a tacky white home button in the black iphone 5. I like my stuff to be like how it was from the factory, so I bought a black home button and went to put it in. Now that I've got everything put back together, no response whatsoever from my phone.
I've tried plugging it into my laptop to see if it registers, it does not. I took it apart and tried to start it while pressing on the three strips underneath the metal plate in the top right corner to make sure there was a good connection, still no start. Any ideas guys, or did I just somehow fry a perfectly good iphone?
