Remember login/passwords for websites

I had the option on my old AT&T 3G, but can't seem to figure how to keep some of my un/pw's on my 4S so I don't always have to enter them on frequently visited websites

I'm looking for the option to remember passwords that I had on my 3G. I'd go to a web login screen and safari would ask me if I wanted it to remember my un/pw I dont know where it is on ios5...

I believe it is in Settings, Safari, Autofill [on]

I had that checked however I never get asked if I want that site to store my password / username

I just "upgraded" from a 3GS running iOS 5 to a 4S running iOS 5.
On the 3GS, Safari would ask me if I wanted to remember un/pw, but on the 4S no such luck.
I've made the settings changes recommended above, but still no luck.

Anyone else having this issue? Got a fix?

OK I fixed it on my iPhone. Not sure which one worked but I did these three hings:
1) Turn Private Browsing OFF
2) Turned Block Pop-ups OFF
3) Hit Clear All in the AutoFill sub-menu

I suspect it was turning OFF blocking pop-ups, but am not 100% sure.

Option #1 is the fix.. Turn off private browsing and you will be prompted to save passwords again
