red-eye edit help!

hi,
ok well currently i had screen shot an email and i was playing with the edit features on the iphone 4 and i clicked the red-eye feature but there was nothing to correct and now i can't seem to exit from red-eye feature. i clicked on the camera button itself and was able to access pictures by clicking on the lowere left hand side but when i click the photo button it sends me to the picture trying to be edited. how do i exit?!

There should be a cancel button in the top left corner of the display.

no theres nothing, it just has a bar on the lower screen reading tap each red-eye. tap again to undo...should i power off the phone?

I concur with your idea that a reboot is the likely fix.
