I recently updated iPod touch and my iphone4 and now under the mp3 section the Recently added section is gone, anybody know how to get recently added back?

I think once you update your recently added are no longer "recent".

If you want to add your songs back to your recent list untick the songs in your iTunes libary on you PC/mac and sync your iPod. Then retick and resync...
