Firemint has just released this amazing trailer from forthcoming driving game, Real Racing 2, as well as revealing that the iPhone game will be released to the App Store on December 16 for £5.99/$9.99/7.99/AU$ 12.99/¥900. As you can see from the trailer, it really looks very impressive indeed. The game is powered by Firemints exclusive Mint3D engine, and uses 5 camera angles including a fully 3D cockpit view and TV-style replays. The HUD also has a minimap that can be turned on or off. There are a total of 30 officially licensed cars to drive, with races featuring a 16-car grid against AI, and 16-player online racing, an iOS first. You get to race the gorgeous-looking cars in 15 different locations, with 40 miles of highly detailed race track.
Career Mode offers approximately 10 hours of gameplay and a range of event types, and there are four other game modes as well as Career Mode Quick Race, Time Trial, Local Multiplayer (8 players) and Online Multiplayer (16 players). There are plenty of tinkering options available too, including the ability to earn in-game currency to finance the purchase of cars and upgrades, and you can also sell cars to make even more money.
