Question on Capacity...

I'm sure this is an elementary question, forgive me, I am a newbie. My 64 GB capacity iPhone 6+ reads in the "General" section: Capacity 55.4 GB, Available Capacity 44.8 GB. Is this normal?

Although your iPhone has 64GB's of storage your operating system and the stock apps Apple put on take up some of that storage, Also you will most likely have used up some more with apps ect ect.
