Problem Help!!

When ever I turn on my phone the carrier doesn't work, on the top it just says 'searching' the phone wont work, any ideas??

Ooh, I know how you feel. I built a red iPhone, and it always said "searching". However with mine, where I would normally get 5 bars, the red phone would get one maybe 2. Check to see if it is the same with yours. Also, have you ever taken apart your iPhone, or opened it up? It could be the antenna cable. That was the problem with mine. When you take the screws out of the bottom of the phone and slide off the back, under the battery connector cable is the antenna cable. Check to see if it came loose. Good luck!
