This one looks brand new. I have a couple of recordings by the Stuttgart choir, including a German language version of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater by Johann Adam Hiller.

Charpentier's Te Deum should be well worth a listen.

That video has been on Youtube for years. It's an Aussie called "DingoesAteMyBaby". (I'm not even going there.) As a trucker, I'm very impressed. I can do it in theory, but I've never driven a triple, so i'm talking very theoretical here.

Lots of people in N America see that video , and say "Wow. He did it on the blind side too." but of course, the truck is right hand drive, so it's a bit easier than it first appears. Only a bit, mind you.
Never seen a triple tandem truck, amazing. Honolulu’s “The Bus” system uses 60’ New Flyer articulated buses. That’s an industry term, I think. I call them double buses. I think the drivers are amazing too, considering the relatively narrow streets they have to navigate without running over cars or pedestrians.

These were first used in Hamilton, Canada …

That's good! But ... But the dollies have 3 axles and I wonder if that doesn't make things a bit more manageable. I run doubles and my dolly is of the single axle type and it turns fast. I get maybe 15 feet and it gets to looking like a pretzel.

A little track time.

Although the driver should be flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, I like this video. He could also audition for Ramstein!

On a related note:
A friend of mine replaced the exhaust system on his brand-new Camaro twice because he didn’t like the way the factory system sounded. While I’ve been aware of the different sounds different engines and exhaust systems make (2-cycle, 4-cycle; 4, 6, 8 cylinders; open, closed, etc.) for me, it was mainly a matter of volume. I didn’t understand my friend’s obsession or passion until I got behind a ROUSH Mustang. I realized that for him, it was “music,” and I began to regard exhaust sounds as such since then.

I don’t think my friend was totally satisfied with his aftermarket exhaust (I wasn’t impressed either), and he bought a Dodge Charger which had a nice, healthy roar. (He still kept the Camaro.)

The following clip is a ROUSH aftermarket exhaust system installed on a factory Mustang. The car I was behind was a total ROUSH conversion (which included the engine). Plus, I experienced a live, surround-sound performance. The clip is not quite the same, but it’s the closest and shortest example I could find …

It certainly was. It was my first time at a live orchestra performance.
I love orchestral movie themes. “Star Wars” is one of my favorites.

A few years ago, a symphony orchestra was formed here by members of the local music community, mainly from academia but essentially anybody who could get past an audition.

One of the concerts that year was themed “Pirates.” My favorite selection was “He’s a Pirate” from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie franchise. It’s a composition requiring the full power of a symphony orchestra. It was an uplifting and rousing performance. The video is not from the concert, which was actually better because I was there! …

I was browsing the web just now and found this. I think you'll enjoy it. It really puts us in our place in the universe.

Whenever I see film or videos of our Sun, it is with equal parts awe and fear - how can a ball of gas keep burning and behave like a solid sphere? It seems like I can almost see through it, scary …
