Please help me I am a technical gimp!

Right....I have had my work I phone stolen so have ordered a new I phone from o2. The new sim for the work phone is Orange so I have purchased and used Absinthe to Jailbreak the phone. I have then used cydia and used ultrasn0w. The phone will still not register the sim card what am I doing wrong?

I thought it might be that I had connected to I tunes on my mac to sync the phone, is this the case? If so do I need to jail break and add cydia again?

Sorry to ask but I am stupid!

Jailbreak tools are always FREE....

Need more info about iPhone goto Settings>General>About> need the Modem Firmware value...
