pictures sent to emails

when I take a picture with my phone in a vertical position and send it to a email, the picture opens up in a horizontial position. the top being to the left. You have to hold the phone horizontially with the home button to the right, to get pictures in the email like your eyes see the picture. Does anyone else have this problem?

I just did a test and sent photos to my email with camera in both positions. Both photos came out correctly.
