My daughter recently bought one for her phone and had the same problem. After getting tired of cleaning it constantly she emailed Otterbox to complain about it
and sent them pictures of it, I assume so they could see it was really one of theirs and not a knockoff. Within a week she had a brand new one in her choice of color free of charge, (she got black and just used it with her previous outside shell. I have one myself (black) and really like it. They are a good company that stands behind their product.
