Organize phone numbers in a contact

Hi new to iPhone 4s iOS 5.1. 32GB
Question
Got several v.cards with phone numbers desorganized. some mobile numbers on top, others with home or work or fax on top etc
How can I reorganize numbers in a contact. Don´t want to rewrite each v.card
