Notifications

In settings I have got all notifications set to show, and on lock screen, but emails only come through when I physically go into mail and refresh. What am I doing wrong?

Same here. I checked in settings for Mail and it looks like everythig is good, Push is turned on, but I have to open my mail app and swipe down to refresh it to get me new email...

What mail are you using? Gmail doesn't support push thru the built in app so you'll need to turn on fetch for gmail to come thru.

Check this setting:Seetings>Mail,Contacts, Calendar>gmail>fetch new data>advanced>and make sure that is also set to fetch.

Is there a way to stop the emails? I prefer not to get them. I use gmail in the stock mail app, but don't want to change it in my phone's settings.
