No signal on Iphone 4.

I bought an Iphone4 about 3 weeks ago off ebay! and it came 2 days ago! but i can now get signal in my house! i was on Telstra and didnt get any signal in my house. so today i switched to Optus and still the same thing happens! it says SOS only or no service. what should i do?​

Have you checked that cellular data is turned on? If so, try resetting your network settings. Go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings. If that doesn't work, hopefully someone else can offer you some advice that may work.
