No internet connection

Hi all,its me again,i have an Iphone 4s,with an o2 contract,
now the phone works fine,on WIFI,in the house,and out shopping,
but it seems,when i switch the WIFI off,it wont pick up my o2 package
data,and the signal is very weak,
Please help an old bugga once again,,,Cheers Baza
 
Take a look at your settings: Settings (app) - Cellular. Is Cellular Data enabled?

A few suggestions to solve your problem:
Restart your iPhone.
Make sure it's software is up to date. For the 4s, it's iOS 8.3.
Maybe there's an update for your carrier settings.
Remove the SIM card and insert it again.
And:
Contact your carrier, to verify that your account is active.

Hi thanks for your reply,o dont have Cellular.on my phone,
dyou mean mobile of which i have both on green,software up
to date 8.3,going to remove sim card now.Hope my a/c is active
as there taking my money lol
Just taken sim out,no change,on the very top of phone it reads
o2-uk 3G
But still no internet Connection ;-(

Maybe you have to check your network settings. If your carrier has a homepage, you might find them there. Otherwise contact the carrier to get the correct settings.

I see you're in UK, yes Cellular Data is what we have in our iPhone as Mobile Data.

Hi i got onto the 02 forum and this was there reply,and its worked a treat,,
Text ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings sent. More often than not , people change phone and are on the wrong data bolt on. Check you are on idata in my O2.
