new user iphone4

Hi all

New to the Iphone world. Got an Iphone4 as a gift and need guidance on exploring and using the iphone. Cannot open an itunes account as we are located in the caribbean....how do i go about downloading apps etc for my iphone....?

Why are you unable to create an iTunes account because of your location...?
