Yesterday, BGR posted images of an iPhone prototype that was running on T-Mobile's 3G network. As you may know, T-Mobile was purchased by AT&T and we should be seeing the merger complete next year. This prototype was running on T-Mobile's bands along with a test version of iOS. Seen within the firmware were Apple's test exclusive apps, like the Apple Directory and Radar. The word is that these test units are getting ready for the next generation iPhone to run on T-Mobile's frequency. Hopefully we'll hear more on this story, more news as it comes in.
