New Member - Incoming Text message Issue

I'm pretty good in all assets of the I-phone, although I'm still amused when Siri is taking her coffee break. "I'm sorry, but I can't take any requests right now..." )

My reason for joining is that a couple of days ago something changed on my incoming text messages:

Every new message shows as a New Message in the upper left, but doesn't show within the message that I'm talking in. I have to hit new message, then go back into the message for it to show up.
Anybody else having this happen? I have a call into Apple for tomorrow AM also.

Just had to reset my network connection All is good.
