BGR writes that newly leaked images of what are claimed to be dummy iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models show the phone having a glass back, indicating that it will have wireless charging capabilities.

While we are used to seeing many, many dummy versions of the forthcoming iPhone 8, these are some of the first iPhone 7s dummies or models to emerge, and are given more credence by the fact that the images were given to 9to5 Mac by Sonny Dickson, an Apple leaker with a good track record.

It has been heavily rumoured that the iPhone 8 will be in short supply at launch, and even when it is more readily available, the approximately $1,100 price tag, may be a little too expensive for some, so the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will be important models for Apple this cycle, despite being somewhat in the shadow of the OLED iPhone 8 until now, certainly as far as leaks are concerned.

Interestingly, another supposed iPhone 7s-related image surfaced today via Slashleaks, this time of what is said to be the first page of the iPhone 7s user manual and packaging material. The iPhone 7s shown in the manual has a rear Touch ID sensor, however, and is overall completely different to the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus shown in the photos posted by Sonny Dickson, so I’m guessing this is likely a fake.
