Need some help with email Icons Apps

This is my first iPhone. I use Gmail as my email account. How can I get the Gmail App down on the bottom to replace the iPhone mail App which I don't use. With Android you can just drag and drop.

Never mind. Just figured it out. Guess I did not hold it long enough to allow the move.

Just drag the gmail app icon down after u dragged the default iOS mail icon up away
