Need help with locked iPhone

My iPhone 12 was locked as a result of multiple incorrect password attempts. My phone had not been synced or backed up to the icloud. Any suggestion in unlocking the phone or recovering data without a factory reset would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You may have an iCloud backup, as it is turned on by default. The only legitimate way into your phone is by restoring to factory settings via a Mac or PC.
