Need help...iphone 3g screen

Can anyone help me here. I've got an iphone 3g and I've got a big problem on my phone. Everything was working fine, suddenly my phone turned into a white screen. I can still see the icons but it's blurry. But everytime I press a ceratin app, its working fine. Its just the home screen that I am having problems. I tried rebooting my phone and turning it on/off for a couple of time but it's still the same. What should I do?
