My app thumbnails have gone weird

As the title suggests, I have a problem with the thumbnails for my applications - they've all become grey squares where the pictures should be. I can still work them fine, but I'd rather have the graphics work. Anyone know what I can do to sort it?

Are you jailbroken? Tried a reboot? What firmware version you on...?

No, I'm not jail broken. I tried rebooting several times, but to no avail. The weird thing is, when it comes to updating, the pictures of the updated apps come back. I'm on 4.2.1 (didn't manage to get my phone sorted but the shop was kind enough to let us exchange). I wonder, would taking them off the phone and then re-syncing them solve the problem?

That sounds like it would of solved it given that the updated apps worked correctly. It could of happened again so it's good that you got a replacement...
