Hello, I have a specific thing I'm trying to accomplish and I'm wondering if anyone here can help me out...

I am an Uber driver and use GPS (Google Maps) almost constantly while working. I don't want my customers to have to listen to the GPS directions, so I use a bluetooth headset. The headset is also handy because sometimes I need to talk on the phone while driving. Uber has a new feature where the rider can play their own Pandora station in my car through my phone during their ride. But, because I have my phone paired with my headset, I will all of a sudden find myself listening to some person's Pandora station in my ear, haha. I have a Bluetooth receiver in the car that will let me play it through the car stereo, but that requires me to select the car as the audio source for Pandora, and then ALL of the audio (including the GPS) goes through the car speakers, which pretty much ruins the music when the GPS butts in every 20 seconds.

Is it possible to play Pandora through the car speakers while using my headset for phone calls and GPS directions? Would hooking the phone to the car via the headphone jack instead of the Bluetooth receiver help in any way?

Here's the technical stuff:

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10.1.1

Car receiver: https://www.amazon.com/iClever-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Multi-Point-Activation/dp/B00GJFGE0K

Headset: http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-5200

Thanks!!
Eric

I don't see a way round this without using wired EarPods. I'm pretty sure that BlueTooth is not sophisticated enough to separate the two sources.
