MountainCenter is a Cydia Tweak which will allow you to change the position of your Notification Center. Instead of having NC pop down from the top, you can have it slide in from the right side or the left side. Settings will allow you to set a number of finger gestures to open up NC so you don't accidentally open it when you don't want to. You can set up to a 5 finger swipe or as little as a single finger swipe to open the Notification Center. MountainCenter can be found for $2.99 under the Big Boss Repo.
