Messages on front screen

Please can someone let me know how I can stop messages from being viewed on my home screen. I've had messages that other people have read because I have not got to them in time . It feels like I have no privacy.

Go to : Settings ⟹ Notification ⟹ Messages . There , just uncheck preview .
