Does anyone know how to custom certain icons to match the downloaded winterboard theme. All serious answers very much appreciated.

Yep easy, install ThemeIconMaker from Cydia, run it and that's all.

Downloaded ThemeIconMaker but it doesn't give me an option to "run" it. All it states on the main screen is enabled themes and disabled themes but doesn't allow me to choose either if them. Any hints.

Enter the theme you are using, tap it, and it will show you what icons will it change, tap add all icons, and respring.
