main screen seach

I just got my new iphone 4s, i had the 1st gen iphone all jalibroke and just the way i liked but needed an upgrade so figured it would have come with 6.1.2 or less, unfortunatley it came with 6.1.3 so no jailbreak for that yet

is there a way to disable the screen when you 1st open the iphone thats the seach screen? looks like a messenger screen but its a search screen? i d not want to update it since i noticed its gone wne you do but is there another way? hopefully the new jailbreak will be out soon! thanks so much, Tim

You cannot disable spotlight search on a stock device, only on a jailbroken device.

Thank you, i didn't think you could but since the 4s is new to me i was hopping

, does anyone know when they might be releasing gut new jailbreak for 6.1.3 and up?

6.1.3/6.1.4 will be released by @winocm/@ih8Sn0w, and iOS 7.X will be released by @Evad3rs. No ETAs are given for either, but projections for iOS 7 puts us at least in February like Evasi0n for iOS 6 earlier this year, or possibly later at best. iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 is in a finished or near-finished state, but according to @ih8Sn0w, the exploits/vulnerabilities may be usable on iOS 7.X, and they're withholding the utility release until the iOS 7 utility is finished or released.
