Mail attachment

I am very new to forums and iPhones
Just recently all my email attachments disappeared on new and old
Mails. Can see there is an attachment but nothing appears at bottom
Of mail. Can only see it if I forward or reply to it. Found no answers
On the apple site and have checked all obvious settings. Please help!
