Developer Nick Lee managed to tinker around with our latest favorite piece of technology, the Apple Watch. His latest project was hacking Apple Watch watchOS 2 to run the aforementioned System 7.5.5. Lee mentioned that he used the Mini vMac Machintosh emulator on the wrist worn device, proving that the Apple Watch belongs in a long list of tiny technology phenomena.
The video above shows off the emulator running on a 42mm stainless steel Apple Watch. The operating system takes a bit of time to load and is pretty useless nowadays. But proving that its possible to run a system, that used to take machines as big as a nightstand nearly 20 years ago on your wrist, is pretty impressive.
