MacHeist Releases The Heist Game for iOS

TouchArcade reports today on a new iOS game release that will be of interest to all the many MacHeist fans out there. If you’re not a Mac owner and therefore most likely unfamiliar with MacHeist, it’s a website that offers discounted Mac OS X shareware bundles, but with the added bonus of cryptic puzzles thrown in that bestow even bigger discounts on the bundles if you can manage to solve the puzzles. Now the creators of MacHeist and tap tap tap have released an iOS game called The Heist, which features 60 different puzzles of four different types, all of which revolve around attempting to break into a vault by cracking its many defences, such as lasers, security cameras and electrified bars.

Just as with the MacHeist website, if you successfully complete the game and break into the vault, you’ll get an actual real-world prize, which TouchArcade believes will be a Steam code for a PC/Mac game, which would normally cost a lot more than $0.99.
