The first Kingdom Hearts mobile game has finally arrived on iOS in 100 countries worldwide a couple of months after the US release. Kingdom Hearts Unchained x (read as key), uncovers story elements from the earliest parts of Kingdom Hearts history, as well as coming bang up-to-date with story elements from the forthcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III games.
“We would love for everyone to dive into the world of KINGDOM HEARTS not only through this title, but through the upcoming titles, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III,” said franchise director Tetsuya Nomura. “As an origins story, there are many elements in the game that new players can enjoy. The game can also be easily picked up and played, so it would be great if fans new and old, take the opportunity to play the game.”
For the first time in Kingdom Hearts history fans get to create their own Keyblade wielder and explore Disney worlds with gorgeous art, interacting with many beloved Disney characters along the way.
Customization is a big part of the gameplay, with many different ways to customize your character, including collecting, fusing, and evolving items in order to customize your Keyblades attacks. You can also team up with other players in guilds to take down Heartless bosses in epic co-op battles.
After the game’s US release it was downloaded more than 2 million times in just under a month. Now many more territories get to enjoy the Disney magic!
