Jailbreak iPod Touch 1G?

I have my 1st Gen iPod Touch sitting around not getting used much ever since I had my Moto Droid, and now iPhone 4. I rooted my Droid when I had it and it wasn't that difficult. I've been thinking about Jailbreaking iPhone 4 lately but would rather Jailbreak my old iPod Touch first and see how it goes.

So I've done some searching around and downloaded Limera1n and tried using that but when it says to hold down the home + power butttons I do, and then release the power button it doesn't do anything else. Am I doing something wrong? Should I use something else?

If this goes well, then I might Jailbreak the iPhone 4.

Well took the easy way and ended up going to a local coffee shop to work on a report for school. And decided to use the wifi and go to jailbreakme.com and it worked. Got Cydia on here and now downloading upgrades.

Anything else I should know with this?
