Hi could you tell me if i jailbreak my iphone 4 with 5.1.1 ios, can i use the simcard?

Ok thank's :)

That's unlocking. That would depend on your baseband (modem firmware) and what type of iPhone 4 you have. The iPhone 4 CDMA (Verizon/Sprint) will not allow you to do so since there's no SIM tray. On the GSM, you would have to unlock it in order to use it with a different carrier than the one that it's linked to. You can either use UltraSn0w (for iPhone 4 with baseband 01.59.00), a Gevey SIM or other SIM interposer, or an IMEI remote factory unlock. The costs are free, $20+ and $5+ respectively depending on where you get them

I have this Iphone 4:

Capacity: 6.4 GB
Available: 6.1 GB
Version: 5.1.1 (9b206)
Carrier: A1.1 ( Austria Mobilkom )
Model: MD128DN

WiFi Address: 28:E0:2C:33:37:EF

ICCID: NO SIM
Modem Firmware: 04.12.01

This are the details from my Iphone.

Thank You. :)

The only details relevant to unlocking a device is the following:

iOS Version:
Model:
Carrier:
Moden Firmware:

All of which can be found in Settings > General > About

iOS Version: 5.1.1 (9B206)
Model: MD128DN
Carrier: A1.1 ( Mobilkom Austria )
Modem Firmware: 04.12.01

I take it from: Settings/ General/ About

Ok :)

The only way you can unlock that baseband is through an IMEI/factory unlock. You can purchase the service online from eBay or any other trusted site, or you can contact your carrier and see if they can do it for you for free or for a similar price as you would get online, which should be around 10-30 dollars of your currency.
