Issue with editing photos in pictures folder - phone reboots!?!

So my mom asked me to show her a few things and one was to edit a picture/crop a family picture. After opening the photo I hit edit and the then the crop icon...and then the phone rebooted?!? Tried this three times, tried shutting the photo app altogether, tried rebooting, etc...anyone have any thoughts or heard of this???

Have cropped many times, stock and jailbroken 5.0.1 and 5.1.1, no problems. Sorry.

Try a hard reset, hold the "POWER" and the "HOME'" buttons down for 15 sec, until you see the Apple Icon, then release both, wait for it to reboot. Can take several minutes so just be patient.
