Is there a way to download texts/iMessages from 3GS for saving & printing?

I'm wondering if there's a way to download and print texts and iMessages from my 3GS to my Mac book? Ideally, I'd like to be able to download an entire record of texts, from one person, then save it to my computer, and print it up later. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing this? Thanks.

Only way I can see is to save screenshots. Hopefully this capability will come with ios6. I can see it being quite useful.

I'm saving screenshots now. But it's cumbersome, if I could download the entire thread of conversation, that'd be something more useful.

download itools sync you're phone with itunes then go to itools then tools then edit itunes backup click on sms.db and export them
