Iphone xr unknown lock screen word

Just received my xr. I noticed in the upper right corner of the lock screen just under the battery icon is the word "Don". Also there are 2 icons for cell strength and 2 for the wifi connection. Checked web and verizon tech support with no success. Only happens on lock screen. Any ideas? Thanks

I would suggest you take it to an Apple Store if possible or phone them. This may be a faulty phone. If Verizon were the supplier, however, and it proves to be faulty, they should replace it.
