Another thing to consider is if the case supports wireless charging.

I got to thinking about what you said... here is what amazon says about defender:

can i charge iphone x in this case?

Picked up this case...I like the silicone edging and the clear back with a little color on the sides although it hides the stainless silver iPhone edging.

Very slim, silicone edging on front helps with grip or holding one handed. The case doesn't really add any weight and love the clear back. Screen protector is Zagg which when ya put it on, make sure there screen is on to line up the top notch area lol...
